“We need to make sure it looks like these two people are intimately involved, so me and Steven talked a lot about that. Like body language, and what their conversations would look like if they were in love and having lots of sex and confined to this tin can. It was quite a challenge actually, that’s probably been the biggest challenge for me on The Expanse is like trying to show this very romantic relationship without the audience seeing much romance.”
Q: Where are we picking up the season for you guys, for your characters? Dominique: …the Roci crew’s like generally, it’s kind of like the first time you see them really as a family. And kind of like settled in who they are, and their relation to each other. And everyone’s not trying to work out if Naomi is OPA anymore…it’s like everyone’s settled. Jim and Naomi are really kind of settled into their relationship.
